Jason tom osbone told his team before the miami game in 1995 HE DID NOT ONE PLAYER TO RELINATE WHEN A MIAMI PLAYER GOT INTO THIER FACE AND ACTED LIKE SOMETHING THAT HAPPEN ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD WAS A MATTER OF DEATH. BO PELINI STATED RESPECT FROM THE TEAM PLAYERS THAT THE COACHING STAFF WAS DOING WHAT WAS THE BEST FOR THE PLAYES AND THAT PLAYERS HAD FUN DURING THE GAME AND PRATICE WAS THE KEY TO GETTING PLAYERS TO PLAY HARD.i guess from the movie both osborne aand pelini are very uneducated football coaches because is to best to state to the players it is total hell out there in a football game at memorial stadium and a player on the footbal team have to know a player and his team mates are willing die during the game in this life or death situation. JASON YOU REALLY DO NEED TO EDUCATE THE NEBRASKA FOOTBALL TEAM ALONG WITH ALMOST EVERY FOOTBALL TEAM IN DIVISION ONE ON THE KEY TO HAVING A SUCCESSFUL FOOTBALL TEAM.

I am a husker fan to and I think I am familar with husker history to. I confess the place where i work i have went out of my way to try and help vietnam vets who the system has not alway treated that well. I have not been able to help alot but i would like to think i have helped a little at times to vietnam vets who are having troubles. Perhap these feelings is what rubbed me the wrong way from the movie and I am probably guilty of posting to many times in response to the movie. However when i hear a million dollar pro coach whinning about he doesn't have any money, is over the hill, can't look at himself in the minor and so on and so on about all his problems. I think of the 57 year old man who got a entry level job and was laid off due to the business slow down after driving a school bus for five years. This man was wounded in vietnam in 1971. the movie rubbed me the wrong way at times stating teammates need to know they will die for each other on the football field. I think we can agree huskes football need the fire and dedication to succeed as known in the movie. however we may or may not agree that the pregame talk given by tom osborne. bo pelini, calahan , solich over the years probably would be more suitable then the coach in the movie . however jason i really do want to see the movie.; ▶ Reply to This

IF i get banned for stating my belief that there is only one place in college football that is the grreatest experience for a college football player is the tunnel walk at nebraska befoe 80 thousand people . A program that has been down for almost a decade and still sells out every game and have highlights of the previous huskers great how can this not be described as heaven on earth instead of hell. Go to a vet hospital you may seen young men who have their faces blew off . young men you can't walk, and so many horilbe situations.
