Chat Embedding

Chat supports several content types that can be embedded in the chat. Examples are below.

• Note to our younger users: While this is an all ages chat, if you are chatting here after 11 pm (local time in your profile) on a weeknight (i.e. school night), your account may be removed. This isn't a place to hang out all night if you are in school.
• Images on a Web Site: Enter full image URL such as 'http://www.mydomain.com/imagepath.jpg' (no other trailing information after the .jpg). JPG, PNG and GIF formats are acceptable.
• Images Uploaded on HuskerSpot.com: Right click on an image to get the URL. In IE, right click the photo and then click 'Properties' and cut-and-paste the image address (URL). In Firefox, right click and then 'Copy Image Location'. For example, you should see something like 'http://api.ning.com/files/50GrcSOUEsM8WkCFdOzyTwkLJByRsDW0kMSpZXTV1u0=/proof.gif?width=48' as the image URL. Paste EVERYTHING into the chat window EXCEPT anything including and after the question mark. So the image URL you paste into chat would be just 'http://api.ning.com/files/50GrcSOUEsM8WkCFdOzyTwkLJByRsDW0kMSpZXTV1u0=/proof.gif'
• YouTube Video Paste the URL (NOT the Embed Code) of a YouTube video
• Music: Type the full URL of an MP3 file such as 'http://www.mydomain.com/file.mp3' (no other trailing information after the .mp3 -- this is Beta)
