I like him, and I think we will develop very well...but i think he is just too young and inexperienced to lead our offense the way it needs to be. Give him a year or 2 and he has stud written all over him. I rather enjoyed watching Latravis throw around the ball though, kinda weird seeing that 15 out there again.
I don't think he'll play in 2009...they'll redshirt him,,,if a disaster happens (Lee goes down for the year) they'll take off the redshirt. Good QB no doubt and will be a stud in the future, but won't start this year so why not sit him and keep eligibility for 4 years.
I still think that Green will redshirt. Spano wont be back at full speed until late in the season if at all. Also, I think we will see another QB on campus by fall. Green may loose his redshirt before the season ends, but I think the coaches will try to preserve it as long as possible. Lee, Washington, unknown QB ahead of Green.
I really dont see that we have a choice but to play Cody or LaTravis. We need at least 2 QB's and the better the nnd QB is the more we can open our offense up with Zach's legs and would also push Cody in terms of learning. Kody likely will be given a hardship year which would actually leave Cody a year ahead in terms of eligibility. We will likely never see Cody Green with a redshirt.
