Hey Nashville Husker fans!

Just wanted to remind you that we are going to be at the Frayed Knot (204 21st Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203) tomorrow for the Nebraska/Kansas State game. Kick off is at 6:30, so feel free to get there right after work to grab a spot and an adult beverage if you would like, and get ready for some football!

GO BIG RED

WOW our Huskers looked good on Saturday!

We've moved up to 6th in the AP and 7th in the Coaches poll, and we were given 1 first place vote! There are whispers of Heisman Trophy's and National Championships, I however feel that it is way to early to start that kind of talk...Let's get though October undefeated before we start getting our hopes up ;)

This week is Homecoming Week at Nebraska!, (My absolute favorite week out of every year in college) and, we are taking on South Dakota State in Lincoln. Kick off is set for 6:00. We will be back at the Frayed Knot for this game. This is a PPV game, so I will be collecting $5 a person to cover the cost of the game.

Just as a heads up, there is a scheduling conflict with our game and the UFC fight, but here is the deal that I have arranged with the Frayed Knot. Our game starts at 6:00, the fight starts at 8:00. We will have all of the TVs with sound until 8:00. At 8:00 some of the smaller TVs will switch over to the UFC fight, but we will still have the BIG TV, some of the smaller TVs and sound. I know this is not ideal but I felt this was a fair compromise. We all have also been invited to stay and watch the fight after our game is over.

Also, the Michigan game is early on Saturday so we won't have to stalk people for their tables! :)

I look forward to another great turn out this week. Let me know if you can make it!

I can't wait to see everyone!

Hey Husker Fans!

First off let me just say a BIG Thank You to the 120 of you, who stuck with us through the technical difficulties. It was kind of fun listening to the game on the radio with everyone. And at least we go to see the last half! It was a nice win!

This week we play Washington. I know they have a lot of clean up work to do before Saturday, we were playing pretty sloppy against Idaho.

The game starts at 2:30, and it should be a good one! (Just as a FYI the game will NOT be televised locally, but the Frayed Knot WILL have the gam) Let's keep up the great turn out and remember to invite all the Husker fans you know. Please let me know if you are going to be able to make it!

GO BIG RED!

Hey Husker Fans -

Our dear Huskers have made their way up to #6 in the AP, pretty exciting!

We are just two short days away from the Idaho @ Nebraska game. I am so so excited to watch the game with everyone again.

We are going to be back at the Frayed Knot (we will be there all season.) The place was packed last weekend lets do it again! The game is at 11:30, and Frayed Knot said that they are going to open at 10... We will be the frist game of the day so we are not going to have to wait for a game to finish to grab a seat!

This will be another PPV game, and per the agreement with the Frayed Knot (before the season started), we will be splitting the cost of the game with the bar. So, I will be collecting $5 a person to cover the cost.

If you could let me know if you are going to be there that would be great.

Also the idea of getting Nashville Huskers T-Shirts made has been tossed around. I am wondering if you would be interested in getting one. I am not sure how much they would cost, or any of the details, but just want to gauge the interest. So let me know!

As always all ages are welcome! So bring the family and help us cheer on the Cornhuskers to another victory.

GO BIG RED & see you Saturday!

Hey Nashville Husker Fans!

WOW what an amazing turn out for the Western Kentucky game! The final head count was around 130! It truly was a little slice of Lincoln right here in Nashville.

Here is the scoop for the Idaho game this weekend. We are going to be back at the Frayed Knot. Kickoff is at 11:30. It is another PPV game so I will be collecting $5 a person to cover the cost of the game again.

Please let me know if you can make it. If you have any questions you can e-mail me at nashvillehuskers@gmail.com

I hope to see everyone there!

Go Big Red!

Hey, is this bar "kid friendly" if we wanted to come watch the game with a 6 and 8 year old?

P.s. I think people will start to get there between 5:30 & 6:00. Kick off is at 6:10

Hey Megan! Yes we are going to be at the Frayed Knot tomorrow! I think there will be a great turn out for the first game of the season! Since it is a pay-per-view game we are asking that everyone pitch in $5 to cover the cost! I hope to see you there tomorrow!
GO BIG RED!!!
